GU Impacts Program Assistant
Biography: Nikunj Beria joins Beeck Center after five years of experience across various development sectors in India. He started his professional career with the Teach For India fellowship where he initiated scholarship programs and a solar energy project. Through this, he realized the potential impact that effective governance can have on alleviating poverty and thus joined Teach for India as a government relations and alumni impact manager.
He then worked as a Program Manager in a think tank, Centre for Civil Society that address the policy challenge of social inclusion facing low-income communities in private schools of India. Prior to joining Beeck Center, he was leading the development and finance verticals in Mentor Me India, a non-profit start-up. By 2020, he aims to work across sectors and forge a global system of cross-sector partnerships between civil servants, private sector and academia across various development sectors, particularly environment and education.
