Robert joined the Beeck Center in May 2016. He is a sophomore in the Georgetown School of Foreign Service studying Science, Technology, and International Affairs. At Georgetown, Robert works at The Hoya, Georgetown’s largest student newspaper, does community service work with the Center for Social Justice, and participates in finance clubs on campus. He is also a Krogh Scholar and a Carroll Fellow, pursuing a research project on healthcare finance and policy.
At the Beeck Center, Robert is interested in Impact Investing strategies and Pay for Success models for achieving social outcomes and has also spent time researching the use of data in government policy. He is particularly interested in the implications that these topics have in health policy making and ways to apply other innovation strategies to health challenges.
Outside of school and work, he enjoys going on runs and reading on a variety of topics, as well as exploring D.C. spontaneously. He is also a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen and loves listening to and sharing stories.
