Design Operations Analyst
Xavier Rivera is our Design Operations Analyst, responsible for ensuring that the Center’s creative studio produces high quality creative work designed to grow the Center’s reach beyond Georgetown. Xavier manages the workflow and production of cross-channel projects for internal and external marketing communications.
Xavier joined the Beeck Center in June 2016, and is currently a Freshman in Georgetown College pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Economics. On campus, Xavier works with the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative’s student group, Startup Hoyas, to promote innovation and entrepreneurship programming on campus. Xavier also serves as the Director of Media for the Georgetown International Relation Association’s National Collegiate Security Conference.
Hailing from Puerto Rico, Xavier grew up in Rockville, Maryland. He is passionate about the intersection between business, technology, and design, as he serves as a mentor at LearnServe International’s Fellows Program for high school students starting social enterprises. Prior to the Beeck Center, Xavier was a Fellow at MIT Launch, a summer incubator at the MIT Sloan School of Business, where he founded Bites, a food-sharing mobile application for college students. Xavier has also worked as a Campaigns and Elections Intern at the National Education Association, the largest worker’s union in the United States, during the 2016 presidential election.
