Anaya Mehta (she/her) is the Student Analyst in the Digital Benefits Network, with a focus in AI + Automation, at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University.
Anaya has previously worked in the civic tech space as a White House intern at the U.S. Digital Service, and as the Partnerships Intern at the Tech Talent Project. At Georgetown University, she is currently conducting political psychology research on the relationship between authoritarianism and obedience, is the Co-Chair of the Speakers Committee at the Social Responsibility Network, and the senior advisor for TEDxGeorgetown.
She is passionate about researching about the use of AI to automate processes in government agencies, and improving access to digital services through technology.
She is a junior at Georgetown University, double majoring in Political Economy and Honors Psychology, with a minor in Computer Science. She was born in New York and grew up in Mumbai, India.
