Kate Christy (she/her) is a student analyst on the Opportunity Project for Cities at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University, responsible for supporting city teams in a design sprint that leverages public interest technology and open data.
She has spent her undergraduate years focusing on social entrepreneurship with a specific emphasis on civic design and engagement. Kate has worked previously with entrepreneurs at the Center for Civic Innovation (Atlanta, GA) through their community innovation team, as well as on Georgetown’s campus in a student-run startup accelerator.
Kate is an incoming senior in the Walsh School of Foreign Service, and has focused her studies on international politics and the Italian language. She is based in Washington, DC.
