For me, the Beeck Center has always been a spark of creativity and innovation on campus. As someone who has spent my time at Georgetown immersing into the social impact scene, I am honored and excited to join team that has truly advanced the frontier of social innovation on campus.
What issues are you most passionate about?
As a business student, I have always been interested in how the private sector can more effectively engage with the public and non-profit sectors. I am excited by the potential for public-private partnerships to guide the future of civic innovation while upholding strong business practices.
Who inspires you?
Fr. Greg Boyle, SJ is one of my personal heroes. Not only has he built the largest gang intervention, rehabilitation, and re-entry program in the world, Homeboy Industries, but throughout the journey, he has also helped reshape the narrative around the way in which we interact with those on the margins of society. As he puts it, “The measure of our compassion lies not in our service to those on the margins but rather in our willingness to see ourselves in mutuality with them.”
