Student Analyst, Sustainable Student Impact
I am excited to join the Beeck Center because of its unique approach to social impact. The Beeck Center takes a realistic look at the world and uses data, evidence, and innovative ideas to create a better future; it explores ‘what could be’ and then takes the steps necessary to make those possibilities a reality. The Center’s work is fast-moving and thoughtful and I’m very grateful to be a part of it!
What issues are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about making the right to a quality public education a reality for all students. Equitable educational opportunities are essential for leveling the playing field for all students and ensuring fair social mobility in our society, but barriers to resources persist across every level of education. I believe in work that uplifts and empowers communities, working to counteract decades of systemic inequalities in our institutions and laws.
Who inspires you?
My parents believe in the transformative power of education for all people. They see the best in everyone and are committed to serving others in their daily lives and work. I am proud to be their daughter because they truly care about creating a fairer, more just world for all people.
