Student Analyst

Kaela Girod (She/Her) is a student analyst at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation’s Family Benefits Lab at Georgetown University, where she works as an Evaluation and Pilot Design Assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Spanish from Grinnell College and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Previously, Girod was a research analyst at the Urban Institute’s Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center, where she worked on projects related to housing affordability, homelessness, and workforce development. She is passionate about using evidence-based practices to tackle policy challenges and promote equitable outcomes.
