David Park

David leads the data and analytics work for the National League of Cities (NLC), a membership organization of more than 2,500 U.S. cities, towns and villages that is focused on improving the quality of life for their current and future constituents. Prior to joining NLC, David was Director of Resource/Knowledge Management at the Urban Land Institute and was also previously a teacher for D.C. Public Schools. Over the course of his career, he has held roles at PwC, Brookings, and the SEEP Network. David served on two federal advisory committees advising federal agencies on data standards and practices. In addition to the Beeck Center, he serves on the boards of the Neighborhood Design Center and Project for Public Spaces. He received his Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and his Bachelor of Applied Science in computer and cognitive science from the University of Pennsylvania.
