Grace Nuri

Student Analyst

Grace Nuri is a Student Analyst at the Beeck Center for Social Impact’s Family Benefits Lab at Georgetown University, where she works as a Research Assistant.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic from Georgetown University and is currently a second -year Master’s student in Arab Studies at the Walsh School of Foreign Service. Grace is interested in understanding the intersectionality between user interface design, technological development, and public service. 

Prior to Beeck, she served as a Research Assistant at the Center for News, Technology, and Innovation, where she studied content moderation, news economic sustainability, and creator journalists’ perspectives on the current news environment. She has extensive experience in metadata tagging, qualitative data analysis, and technology policy research. Grace is currently conducting research for her MA capstone project on social innovation and entrepreneurship in North Africa. She joins the Beeck Center, excited to learn more about public policy and social impact on the local government level, fueled by her passion for making information on resources and services more accessible to communities in need.
