Kaela Girod (She/Her) is a Student Analyst for the Family Benefits Lab at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University, where she supports the Family Benefits Lab as an Evaluation + Pilot Design Assistant. She holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Grinnell College and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy. Previously, Kaela was a research analyst at the Urban Institute’s Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center, where she worked on projects related to housing affordability, homelessness, and workforce development. She is passionate about using evidence-based practices to tackle policy challenges and promote equitable outcomes.
