Sophia Navarro

Researcher

Sophia Navarro (she/her) is a Researcher at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University. In this role, she designs and leads applied research on digital government delivery, producing actionable insights and resources for government practitioners.

Before joining the Beeck Center, Sophia conducted research and evaluation of federal and state programs spanning nutrition assistance, maternal and child health, and chronic disease prevention. Across government, nonprofit, consulting, and academic settings, she has conducted mixed-methods analyses, partnered with public agencies and community organizations, and translated evidence into recommendations to improve the design, delivery, and accessibility of public services.

Sophia is interested in using data, technology, and human-centered design to improve program implementation, participant experience, and equitable access to services to promote wellbeing, particularly for vulnerable populations.

Sophia received her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at the University of California, Berkeley. She is based in Seattle, Washington.
