Megan Hauser

Project Researcher, Family Benefits Lab

Megan Hauser (she/her) is the Project Researcher for the Family Benefits Lab at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University, responsible for leading research lifecycles and developing relationships with state partners.

She has nearly two decades of experience in the fields of education and research across all levels. Most recently, she led a statewide study of teacher leadership in collaboration with The College of New Jersey and the New Jersey Department of Education to understand the needs of teachers as they relate to retention in the field and student attendance. She has also taught courses in Leadership and Gender Diversity and Inclusivity at Lehigh University and Neumann University.

Megan is driven to bridge the gap between research and practice by operating from a human-centered, collaborative approach. She is passionate about creating equitable systems that uplift mothers and prioritize vulnerable populations.

Megan has a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Moravian University. She is based in Easton, Pennsylvania.
