Elizabeth Onofre

Elizabeth Onofre (She/Her) is a student analyst for the Digital Service Network and is a rising senior at Georgetown University, majoring in Computer Science, Ethics and Society, and completed her Liberal Arts Associate’s degree with a Pre-Stem focus at Arrupe College. At both her community college and university, she actively participated and led initiatives that promote social justice, advocacy, and community engagement. At Arrupe College, she was the president of the Dreamers and Allies Student Organization, advocating for immigrant rights and community, and president of the Graphic Novel Club, organizing discussion groups to read and evaluate underrepresented stories told through graphic novels. At Georgetown, she tutored English Language Learner children with the DC Schools Project, was a Tech, Ethics and Society Research Assistant, and is currently a fellow for the Georgetown Research Chapter researching current events at the intersection of technology and social impact. At the Beeck Center, she is on the Digital Service Network team as the UX Research Assistant + Network Engagement student analyst.
Elizabeth is passionate about how technology shapes public service and the importance of understanding emerging technologies, which is complemented by her technical skills within the field. She currently works at a non-profit organization that provides workforce development for individuals and families receiving government assistance and hopes to continue her career in creating tangible, beneficial impacts for communities through the field of policy and technology.
