Vinuri Dissanayake

Student Analyst

Vinuri Dissanayake (she/her) is a Student Analyst conducting research in the field of government technology (GovTech) at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University.

Previously, she worked in various roles, including as a lawyer, management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and as an intern at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the Grameen Foundation. At Georgetown University, she supported research on policy implementation and management in the justice system.

Vinuri is passionate about advancing the use of fair and safe emerging technology in how governments deliver high-risk services.

Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at Georgetown University. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Law and Commerce from The University of New South Wales. Vinuri is based in Washington, DC.
