Ashleigh Fryer
Ashleigh guides the Beeck Center in developing compelling content and amplifying narratives that contextualize the leading-edge ideas of fellows and experts as they build toward scaled positive impact.
Previously, Ashleigh managed communications efforts at the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City, a City-affiliated nonprofit which harnesses the innovative spirit of public-private partnerships to invest in meaningful programming that supports vulnerable New Yorkers. She has also worked as a writer, editor, and communications strategist at The Council of State Governments Justice Center and the Center for Employment Opportunities–two data-informed nonprofit organizations advocating for reform at all levels of the criminal justice system. Ashleigh began her career as a hyperlocal journalist in Southern California after earning her degree in journalism and cultural anthropology from Boston University.
