Elizabeth Onofre

Elizabeth Onofre (She/Her) is a student analyst for the Digital Service Network and a rising senior at Georgetown University, majoring in Computer Science, Ethics and Society. She previously earned an associate’s degree in Liberal Arts with a pre-STEM focus at Arrupe College. Throughout her academic journey, Onofre has actively participated in and led initiatives promoting social justice, advocacy, and community engagement. At Arrupe College, she served as president of the Dreamers and Allies Student Organization, advocating for immigrant rights and community. She also was the president of the Graphic Novel Club, allowing her to organize discussion groups to read and evaluate underrepresented stories in graphic novels. At Georgetown, she tutored children in English with the DC Schools Project, worked as a Tech, Ethics and Society research assistant, and is currently a fellow with the Georgetown Research Chapter researching current events at the intersection of technology and social impact. At the Beeck Center, she is on the Digital Service Network team as the UX Research Assistant + Network Engagement student analyst.
Onofre is passionate about how technology shapes public service and the importance of emerging technologies. She currently works at a nonprofit organization that provides workforce development for individuals and families receiving government assistance, and hopes to continue her career in creating tangible, beneficial impacts for communities through policy and technology.
