Maya Salameh
Maya Salameh (they/she) is the Program + Data Manager of the Digital Benefits Network (DBN) at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University. She is responsible for managing and overseeing DBN operations while supervising day-to-day network functions, leading impact evaluations, and contributing to digital communications and special events.
Maya is a researcher, data strategist, and community organizer. She has over five years of community-centered research experience, with a focus on public service access and design. Previously, she served as a Research Fellow for the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, iterating actionable research insights for diverse public sector audiences. Most recently, she worked as an Analytics Consultant at VIVA Social Impact, leading program evaluation research for 10+ public agencies and developing firmwide data strategy and storytelling.
Maya believes research is most useful when it is accessible to the communities it is for and about. She is passionate about innovating and improving the functionality of public services and infrastructures.
Maya has a Master’s in Sociology and Bachelor’s in Psychology from Stanford University. She is based in Los Angeles, California.
