Powering What’s Possible: A Look at the Beeck Center’s 2024 Impact
At the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation, we believe that improving government systems is both possible and necessary. Our recently released 2024 Impact Report tells the story of how we have done just that—tracing our journey over the past decade, since the Beeck Center’s founding in 2014.
“[The Beeck Center] came at the right moment … where the entire environment was ready for rethinking how young people learn. Now interdisciplinary problem solving activity [at Georgetown] is just booming … I’m willing to say [the Beeck Center] was a causal factor in more traditional academic programs rethinking how they teach.”
Interim President Robert Groves, Georgetown University
Founded with the goal of maximizing social impact and growing the next generation of changemakers, the Beeck Center has evolved into a leading social impact organization. From advancing digital benefits delivery in Arizona, to accelerating access to climate-resilient jobs in Minnesota, to informing national conversations on Capitol Hill about modernizing technology adoption, the Beeck Center is reaching every state and territory across America to make government work better for everyone.
“As these critical services—and the government talent, technology, and infrastructure needed to deliver them—face growing threats, we know that it is a critical time to invest in government at all levels. With your partnership, the Beeck Center will be here to meet the moment and champion a people-centered, resilient, and digitally-enabled government that works for all.”
Lynn Overmann, Executive Director
We are proud of the progress we made in 2024 and over the last decade, but we are clear-eyed about the growing challenges and realities that governments and public institutions face. We remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting public servants as they work to build a future rooted in opportunity, equity, and economic mobility for all. As the digital era continues to shape our world, we will keep showing up with humility, action, and a bold vision for what’s possible.
“We are currently facing a growing crisis—core government functions and operations are being dismantled, fracturing the systems meant to support people when they need it most. Just as it has for the last 10 years, the Beeck Center will continue striving to create the most impact for the most people.”
