Shamitha is a Student Analyst for the Climate Resilience Program at the Beeck Center, where she conducts research, collaborates with municipal governments, and develops climate solution technologies for local communities. She is a junior at the Georgetown School of Foreign Service, studying Business and Global Affairs and pursuing a Sustainable Business Fellowship.

On campus, Shamitha has served as the Vice President of the SFS Academic Council, led sustainability projects at Hilltop Consultants, conducted environmental surveillance research for the Earth Commons, and started Georgetown’s eco-preneurship program. In her free time, she enjoys adventuring on DC’s metro systems, working out, cooking, and playing Japanese number puzzles.
