In this training, hosted by InnovateUS, participants will learn about approaches to integrate the principles of human-centered design and equity to Artificial Intelligence (AI) design, use, and evaluation. The Beeck Center’s Elham Ali will share best practices for public sector professionals to apply human-centered design in AI to their work projects, team, and community collaboration. Participants will also learn from a city government case study where government advisers, community nonprofits, and a technology company worked together to successfully apply human-centered and generative AI design to a civic technology project.
