Maya Garg is a Research Assistant with the Digital Benefits Network at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University. She is currently building an interactive network directory to foster collaboration between organizations and agencies that are working to improve public benefits provision.

Maya is excited about the potential for data and technology to improve government functions and empower communities. She has previously worked as a research intern at the Brookings Institution, where she supported two networks of state development agencies in leveraging federal funding to best promote economic growth and talent development.

Her passion for equitable and sustainable economic advancement has driven her to pursue a degree in Economics, with a minor in Global Health, at Georgetown University. She is based in Washington D.C.
