Milda Aksamitauskas
Milda Aksamitauskas (she/her) is the Fellow of the State Chief Data Officers (State CDO) Network at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University, responsible for leading and maturing the Network to the next level.
Milda is an experienced data and analytics strategist. She has almost twenty years of experience in Wisconsin state service including serving as the first Chief Data Officer at the Department of Justice and leading a team of analysts at the Office of Health Informatics. She has consulted Lithuania’s Office of the Prime Minister on an open data initiative. Milda is an invited contributor of posts and a speaker at conferences about data governance.
Milda is passionate about elevating the potential of government data-driven decision making to create equitable societal change and improve systems.
Milda has a Master’s in Public Policy from University Chicago and a degree in Political Science from DePaul University. She is based in Madison, Wisconsin.
