Shanelle Roberson
Shanelle Roberson (she/her) is the Community Manager, Digital Benefits Network, at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University, responsible for bringing practitioners, stakeholders, and decision-makers together to work toward digitizing and strengthening a human-centered U.S. Social Safety Net.
She has over nine years of experience in community engagement and program management. She recently served as the Director of Youth Justice Initiatives at Georgetown University’s Center for Social Justice and spent five years working for an education non-profit. She has also led workshops on community building and collaboration across sectors.
Shanelle is passionate about social impact and civic tech tools that increase access and equity for those most vulnerable. She strives to bridge the gap between the government, corporate, and community.
Shanelle is pursuing her Master’s in Education Policy from Georgetown University and holds a degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is based in Washington, DC.
